Denbies Vineyard, Dorking, Surrey, UK. 10th October 2014. The sunshines through a red and green vine leaf at Denbies where there are a bumper crop of grapes ready for harvesting at the vineyard on the chalk hills of the North Downs in Surrey.
About Julia Gavin
Photography has always been part of my life. My Dad always had a large collection of cameras around the house, he processed his own film and taking photos was the norm. My first camera was a Zenit SLR bought for my 12th birthday. At 18 I passed an A level in photography. My interest in photography started to become a more serious hobby around 2001 and I put on the first of two exhibitions at my local library. The positive feedback and sales of prints encouraged me to take my hobby to a higher level and I subsequently purchased my first digital camera and began taking photos more frequently. My main passion is for landscape photography but I also enjoy capturing images of modern architecture and the detail of close up...
